Incredibly popular Korean fried chicken chain opening another Columbus location

An international fried chicken chain has been spreading its wings throughout central Ohio, this time with another location that’s more centrally located in Columbus.

If you haven’t tried CM Chicken, you’ve most likely heard about it. It’s a viral sensation, with some people claiming it’s the best fried chicken they’ve had in the city (and in the country, really).

Now, there’s another chance to grab some of this legendary chicken. Franchise owners have confirmed that they’re opening another CM Chicken at 1011 W. 5th Ave. in the Fifth by Northwest neighborhood, near Grandview. They said they’re planning on opening in early October.

There are already three other locations here in central Ohio: one on Henderson Rd., another in Pickerington, and one more in Westerville.

In 2009, CM Chicken debuted in Korea, and it wasn’t until 2017 where they started growing quickly throughout the United States. They’re most known for starting their own recipe, called Tikkudak, which is a combination of both fried and grilled chicken. There are now about 50 locations throughout the United States.
