New Mexican Ice Cream and snack shop now open

The owner of Casa Jalisco Grill & Cantina has a sweet new concept ready for Hilliard. 

Jalisco Mexican Ice Cream, which is located at 5300 Westpointe Plaza, officially opened for business on April 19.

The shop is owned by Susana Morales and Pablo Diaz Lopez. Morales brings years of experience to the new store after operating ice cream shops in her native Mexico.

In addition to ice cream and paletas–all of which are made in-house– the new Hilliard shop offers a variety of other Mexican “antojitos,” or snacks, such as mangonada, Tostilocos and Dorilocos, Chicharrón, elote and more.

Jalisco Mexican Ice Cream is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
