Five central Ohio cities make it on list of ‘Ohio’s Snobbiest Cities’ – do you live in one?

Sav McKee

I really haven’t seen or heard the word “snob” in quite a while until stumbling upon a list that definitely caught my attention: “Ohio’s Snobbiest Cities.”

Of course, the term “snob” is completely subjective – I live in none of the neighborhoods below, but I’m definitely a book snob and wine snob. I don’t think this makes me an actual snob though, which brings us to the question, what is a snob?

But Saturday Night Science analyzed 250 of Ohio’s most populous areas with over 5,000, looking at the most expensive homes, high incomes, highly educated populations, most private schools, museums, and libraries. All of this adds up, to their opinion, of being “snobby.” (They said it! Not me.)

“The Ohioan in these places aren’t snobby, they just know they’re better than you,” the article joked.
