In his younger days, Mike Faist starred in a Columbus Children’s Theatre production of The Wizard of Oz, playing one of the Lollipop Guild. While at Gahanna Lincoln High School, he started as Danny Zuko in their Grease production, and Simon in Jesus Christ Superstar.

Small roles here and there, Faist eventually emerged as a breakout star playing Riff in Spielberg’s adaption of West Side Story.

And now, he’s starring in the highly anticipated movie, Challengers, alongside A-list celebrity and actress, Zendaya (who just starred in Dune). Faist will play Zendaya’s husband, Art Donaldson, who’s been transformed to one of the best tennis players in the world, thanks to his tennis-coach wife.

The director of Challengers is Luca Guadagnino, who’s also directed cult classics like Call Me By Your Name and Bones and All, both starring Timothée Chalamet.

You can watch Faist in Challengers starting April 26 in nearby theaters!
