A new reality TV show follows the Agyekum Sisters, who are the children of royalty from two of Ghana’s richest and most influential kingdoms, as they navigate life in their 20s in none other than Columbus, OH.

The Royal Rules of Ohio gives us an up close & personal view of new school ambitions trying to blend with old school traditions. The three sisters, who definitely live an opulent life as modern Americans, are trying to stay in touch with their Ghanaian community and roots and abide by their parents’ traditional rules, but with that, comes a lot of drama.

“My parents left the warrior country, AKA Ghana, to a land of cornfields and cows. They brought with them rules on how we’re supposed to behave as descendents of royalty,” said the show’s trailer. “My parent’s dreams for us sometimes clash with our dreams for ourselves.”

The show includes many Columbus cultural landmarks and references. For example, in the trailer, the sisters are at Franklin Park Conservatory and Columbus rock climbing gyms.

You’ll have to watch the drama unfold for yourself! The docuseries can be watched on Freeform on Wednesdays at 10:30 and on Hulu starting the following Thursday (today!).
