Popular second-hand store closing their doors this month

If you know anything about thrifting, you know that there’s that one spot that always has the best finds.

Unfortunately, that spot is closing their doors this month.

Volunteers of America posted on their social media that their 4280 Macsway Ave. thrift store location will be closing on Friday, April 19th.

“We are so grateful to all our loyal customers over the years! Be sure to check out nearby stores in Whitehall, Pickerington, and other areas of central Ohio,” their Instagram caption says.

Columbus residents took to the comments of the post to express their disappointment. “This was the best one; one of the few VOAs that hasn’t been ‘made over’ into a new, slick retail space with over-inflated pricing,” said one commenter. “I found so much cool stuff here. I’m so sad,” said another. And one person expressed, “Literally the best VOA.”

We’ll miss you, Macsway Ave. VOA!
