This famous Columbus attraction is hosting a terrifying Valentine’s Day-themed haunted house

Let’s face it – love can sometimes be terrifying.

And if you’re more of a “Love is in the Scare” rather than “Love is in the Air” type of person, there’s a haunted house in Columbus that’s confirming that indeed, love bites.

Fear Columbus, one of the top haunted houses in America, known for tens of thousands of square feet of elaborate, horrific set designs and costumes, is hosting their annual Valentine’s Day Horror Experience this weekend.

From the 16th-18th, you can trade the love and romance that comes with Valentine’s Day for some thrills and chills instead. This year’s event will feature 3 unique themes through their massive, 40,000 square foot attraction:

Hexed Hearts: an exciting adventure in a house full of witchcraft and hidden secrets. Wander through mysterious rooms where whispers of love spells float in the air, and as the Coven of Eternal Love performs magical spells.
High School Sweethearts: in case we want to relive the horrors of our high school dances…Fear Columbus is setting up a haunted school dance, complete with punch spiked with potion, creating a night of eerie surprises and ghostly encounters.
Butchered Beloved: walk through a creepy butcher shop, where every turn shows a scary story of love gone wrong. Hear the chilling sounds of knives and meat hooks, and find tales where love meets fear.

Each ticket includes photo ops, plus horror-themed drinks and dessert.
