International retail chain located in Short North to close after 10 years

While there’s plenty of shops in the Short North to buy fun gifts, cute trinkets, and trendy clothes at, next week, there will be one less.

Anthropologie, the major retail chain that’s a sector of Urban Outfitters and Free People under the parent company URBN, announced that their last day of operation will be January 12th. The storefront at 625 N. High St. stayed their entire 10-year lease.

Although sales increased for the retail chain, and a new store is opening at The Greene in Beavercreek, OH, four other Anthropologies closed around North America.
