According to ‘USA Today,’ Columbus in the running for country’s best Oktoberfest, pumpkin patch, apple orchard, and overall fall destination

Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Mackinac Island, Michigan. Door County, Wisconsin. According to USA Today, Columbus is on the same level as these iconic fall destinations.

The Arch City has been nominated for four different autumnal accolades in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice awards.

In addition to Columbus itself being named as one of the country’s Best Places to Visit for Fall, the following local spots also received nominations:

Voting for Best Places to Visit for Fall ends Sept. 9, while the other three end on Sept.e 18. Each category starts with 20 nominees, which are then narrowed to 10 to create the 10Best list.
