New float tank experience coming to Polaris

A Columbus wellness spa specializing in float tanks is on its way to Polaris.

According to a press release, Ebb & Float is planning to open a new location at 675 Worthington Rd., in the Westar Neighborhood Retail Center Plaza. Beside new neighbors Planet Fitness, Fresh Thyme, and 101 Beer Kitchen, Ebb & Float plans to open this winter, although an exact date was not announced.

Specializing in floatation therapy (sometimes referred to as sensory deprivation tanks), Ebb & Float also offers an infrared sauna, cold water immersion and traditional massage therapy.

The new Ebb & Float location will take over the former home of Urban Float, which closed its doors in 2023. The Polaris location will allow the concept to bring not one but two new float tanks to the Worthington Road spot.
