The World Naked Bike Ride Columbus is officially returning for 2024.

The annual event, which, as you can probably guess from the name, involves a whole lot of people biking with or without clothes, will take place on Aug. 31 at 7 p.m.

An after-party will continue this year until 11 p.m.

This year’s route and starting point will be announced on 8/29 on the Columbus World Naked Bike Ride Facebook page.

Billed as an “international clothing-optional event,” the ride typically also promotes freedoms from oil, hence the bicycles. This year, a new organizing team is behind the ride.

According to organizer David Weasley, a large number of riders are expected for weekend’s event.

“We’re anticipating a very large turnout this year, with over 25 organizers & volunteers supporting the event and expected attendance is between 100-250 riders,” Weasley said.
