Smash it all! Columbus’ first rage room experience officially opens

Columbus’ first-ever rage room experience has opened its doors, but its unclear whether or not those doors have already been smashed off their hinges.

Wrecking Company officially opened for business on Nov. 2. It’s located at 234 S. 4th St., just a short walk away from Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace and 16-Bit Arcade + Bar.

Founded by Kate Zenger, who noticed Columbus lacked a rage room while they were popping up in other cities, the new spot allows patrons to destroy a crate of 10 “breakables,” in 15 minute-sessions. Safety gear, including coveralls, a hardhat with visor and gloves, are provided.

You’ll even be able to customize a plate to destroy, meaning you can plaster it with your boss’ face, your ex’s name, or anything else that drives you insane.
You can book your own Wrecking Co. experience here. The new Columbus rage room is open Thursday 4-9 p.m., Friday 3-10 p.m., Saturday 12 p.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday, 12-5 p.m.
