Popular Downtown restaurant closing after 14 years after inability to reach new lease terms with City of Columbus
“We have enjoyed sharing our time with you for the past 14 years and helping you celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations and so much more,” said the popular restaurant.
Milestone 229, the beautiful restaurant overlooking the Scioto Mile and Fountains, announced today that after 14 years, they’ll be saying goodbye.

According to their Facebook post, “We were unable to reach new lease terms with the City of Columbus that were favorable to both parties.”
Make sure to stop in before their last day of operation on December 31 for their signature burrata, steak frites, and banana pudding.
Milestone 229 thanked their loyal guests. “We’ve been honored to be a part of your lives!” they said.
