Columbus eatery introduces new ‘A Christmas Story’ themed pizza

If you ask us, “Christmas Vacation” is the superior holiday movie, but a pizza inspired by “A Christmas Story” is still absolutely something we can get behind.

Earlier this week, Mikey’s Late Night Slice rolled out a new pizza inspired by the Christmas classic.

According to a social media post, Yule Shoot Your Pie Out is now available at all Mikey’s locations where Pizzas of the Week are sold, and will be available until Dec. 15.

What makes up a pizza created after “A Christmas Story” you ask? According to Mikey’s, the pie features pepperoni “ribbons” and fresh green pepper, served on top of white cheddar mac and cheese.

The pizza is one of Mikey’s many forays into unique speciality pie, joining the ranks of The Gobbler, a Thanksgiving-themed pizza that swaps gravy for red sauce and includes stuffing, and even a cranberry dipping sauce on the side.
