18 years-old coffee concept announces merger with Boston Stoker
An Uptown Westerville mainstay will remain in business thanks to a merger with another Ohio-based coffee company.
According to a social media statement made by both Java Central Cafe & Roaster and Boston Stoker Coffe Co., the two companies plan to merge, a move that will allow Java central, the longtime Uptown Westerville concept, to stay open.
“Java Central has been honored to serve the Westerville and Central Ohio community for over 18 years. Over that time, we have had many different chapters of our story as we adapted and grew to meet new challenges,” information about the merger reads. ”Despite major financial losses in 2020, we not only managed to survive as a business, but through your support we have grown to become a small business success story! To sustain this growth, the Java Central partners have used every resource and tool available in the pursuit of the mission we care so much about.”
