50 year-old Columbus pizza concept coming to new location of local restaurant and bar

Shaker’s Public House recently reopened at a new location after a fire destroyed their previous home and closed the concept for six months. And soon, the popular Columbus bar and grille has even more to entice potential diners.

According to Shaker’s owner Spencer Campbell, starting this week, Pizza Cottage pies will be added to Shaker’s menu full-time.

“It’s very humbling to get the attention, or at least the approval of the ownership of the cottage. For them to approach me with the offer is rewarding itself,” Campbell told 614Now.

Campbell said that Shaker’s will begin by offering just cheese and pepperoni options from Pizza Cottage. New pizzas will likely be added as monthly specials as well.

The partnership, which he described as a “mutual deal that benefits both ways,” is a new move for both concepts. Pizza Cottage will not have a dedicated space in Shakers, but the pies will be picked up daily by Shakers and cooked to-order in the Shaker’s Public House ovens.
