After 15 years, longtime Downtown eatery relocates

A popular spot to grab a lunchtime burrito has relocated for the first time since they opened Downtown in 2008.

But they didn’t move very far.

Cinco Tacos, once located at 1 S. High St. in the Huntington Building, announced via social media that they’ve officially moved just around the corner to 10 West Broad St, as of yesterday, June 10., right next to the Palace Theater.

Before they bought and revamped Cinco Tacos in 2019, the owners Francisco and Napoleon Garcia operated the Holy Tacos food truck, serving authentic Mexican cuisine that quickly became popular. Their menu features specialties from their hometown of Toluca, Mexico, such as street tacos, birria tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and even fresh salads.

This marks the second restaurant to leave the Huntington Building in the past couple of months. Pizza Rustica shuttered their doors in that space in May.
