The almost two-year long wait to get your hands on giant burritos, authentic birria tacos, and thick tortas will likely be over soon

After opening in January of 2021, then temporarily closing in April of 2022 for renovations, and then facing multiple construction setbacks over the past 23 months, Martha’s Fusion Kitchen announces it hopes to finaly reopened this month. They’ve put their heart and soul into making this a space of their own, especially since they signed a 14 year lease on the property.

According to their social media post, they passed their final inspection from the construction aspect, and now just need to pass the health department’s inspection, “and we should be ready to go,” they said. “So I would say that we should be up and running by Monday, March 11th, more or less – wish us luck!”

“We love you all and hope to see you all soon and fill your bellies with good eats,” they finished.

Martha’s is most known for their authentic, hand-made birria tacos, enchiladas, mulitas, and much more. Martha Armenta, the owner, is bringing recipes from her hometown of Guanajuato, Mexico right here to Columbus.

The Mexican restaurant is located at 3331 Maize Rd., and trust us – it’s worth the wait.
