“Man! What a remarkable 13 year ride! The restaurant, which specializes in waffles and other breakfast fare (like its Red Velvet waffles and , was originally launched in Louisville by former Food Network show host Darnell “SuperChef” Ferguson. Bryson and Ferguson then brought the concept to Columbus, although Ferguson has not been affiliated with the Columbus location for years.

The Louisville SuperChef’s restaurant is also closed.

Early this year, Ferguson was arrested in connection to a domestic violence case in which he allegedly strangled his former partner. The case is set to go to trial in 2025.
