All-you-can-eat Mongolian-style BBQ grill now open

Justin Ye, a local restaurant known for the popular Asian restaurants Wild Ginger Asian Fusion and Ye’s Asian Vegan Kitchen, just recently opened his newest concept.

WY Mongolian Grill is a new, all-you-can-eat, Mongolian-style concept, located in Lewis Center at 8633 Columbus Pike. The 6,000 square foot restaurant was once the home of Asian Garden Buffet before they closed two years ago.

WY Mongolian Grill features a buffet where customers get to choose their own base, such as noodles and rice, then pack their bowl with as much protein, vegetables, and sauces as they prefer. Protein options include seafood like scallops and crab, as well as pork, beef, and chicken. They then bring their concoction to the chefs, and they’ll cook it right in front of guests, similar to BD’s Mongolian Grill, according to Ye.

The restaurant also offers a variety of Chinese dishes, and Ye told 614Now that sushi may be available in the future, too. They’re open Monday through Thursday, 11am-10pm, Friday through Saturday 11am-10:30pm, and Sundays, 11am-9:30pm.

“I’m most excited that this concept is so different from Wild Ginger,” Ye explained. “I like the idea of bringing a new concept to Lewis Center.”
