Brewers Association names three Ohio craft breweries among 50 largest in the nation

Multiple Ohio craft breweries, including one in Columbus, have been named among the top 50 in the country in terms of beer production by the Brewers Association.

On April 16, the Brewers Association released its annual production report, which noted that the number of craft breweries in the country reached an all time high last year with 9,761.

The report noted the 50 highest-producing breweries of last year, and three Ohio breweries made the cut.

BrewDog Brewing Co.’s United States hub, which is located in Canal Winchester, was the 36th largest craft brewery of last year. 

The largest craft beer producer in The Buckeye State was Great Lakes Brewing Co., which is located in Cleveland and landed at number 17, followed by Rhinegeist Brewery in Cincinnati, which took the 22nd spot.
