Popular Chinese variety and toy store opening first Ohio location

A popular international variety store offering toys, novelties and home goods is opening its first Ohio store.

Miniso, a unique chain selling everything from toys and novelties to kitchenware and electronics, is coming to Polaris Fashion Place, according to signage in the mall.

The Polaris location of Miniso will be the chain’s first storefront in Ohio. Polaris Fashion Place is located at 1500 Polaris Pkwy.

The opening date of the Polaris store is currently unclear.

Miniso was founded in Guangzho, China in 2013, and expanded in Asia before opening stores in Europe, North America and South America. The concept even opened a location in Pyongyang, North Korea in 2017.

The brand has more than 4,000 storefronts worldwide, but is currently mostly confined to the East and West Coasts of the United States.
