A new Brewery District spot has advanced to the final round of a prestigious national contest.

In April, the chic new High Street spot Cobra was named one of the 10 best new cocktail bars in the U.S., within the Central Region of the Spirited Awards, an annual event that’s organized by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation.

Now, they’re in the top 4.

Earlier this week, Cobra posted a statement to its social media accounts that it was named a finalist for the contest. Winners from each category will be announced on July 25, but it seems like Cobra has already snagged a serious victory landing on among the contest’s finalists.

“𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥! 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲. 𝐖𝐞’𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤,” the statement reads.

Cobra was Created by Columbus service industry veterans Alex Chien, Jack Dale Bennett Jr., Josh Spiers, and David Yee. The concept opened its doors last October, focusing on cocktails and international noodle dishes.
