Coffee chain with appearances on ‘Good Morning America’ and ‘The Today Show’ reveals location of Columbus store

We’ve known since last summer that Bitty & Beau’s, the national concept self-described as a “human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop,” was coming to the Columbus area.

And now we finally know where.

According to a Facebook post from the concept made on April 24, Bitty & Beau’s first Ohio storefront will be located at 3110 Tremont Rd. in Upper Arlington, within Kingsdale Shopping Center.

The chain offers speciality coffee drinks, smoothies and more.

With founder Amy Wright being named CNN’s Hero of the Year in 2017, the concept has become popular in part for its hiring of special needs individuals, and has created more than 450 jobs for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

Once its Ohio storefront opens, Bitty & Beau’s will operate nearly 20 locations across 12 states.
