A Columbus craft brewery known for its production of sour and wild ales is closing its doors.

According to a statement posted to its social media accounts by owner Jason Grable, Random Precision Brewing Co. will close its doors before the end of the month.

The brewery, which is located at 2365 W. Dublin Granville Rd. in Linworth, will close for good on Jan. 28 at 7 p.m.

“We can’t express how amazing the past six years have been and we want to thank everyone who came through our doors, but too many bumps in the road have brought us to this point,” Grable’s statement reads. “We’d like to think that we’ve brought our barrel aged sours to some of you who would never have thought to drink one. Maybe even made some sour beer lovers.”

The brewery will be open and running specials until it closes this weekend.

“We still have some kegs and could use your help emptying them this week,” Grable’s statement reads.
