Local eatery offers Thanksgiving-inspired pizza with gravy, cranberry sauce

It’s the time of year we all bring out the turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce while telling each other what we’re grateful for.

And no, we’re not talking about Thanksgiving. We’re talking about The Gobbler from Mikey’s Late Night Slice.

The annual pizza release—which features smoked turkey from Ray Ray’s Hog Pit—will hit Mikey’s locations starting today.

“This is one of our best and most popular Pizzas-of-the-Week.  We’ve actually been running it for 14 years now,” said Mikey’s director of marketing Jason Biundo.”While it’s evolved a bit over the years, the very first version of it was made with my mom’s Thanksgiving leftovers.”

The Gobbler features Ray Ray’s smoked turkey, house-made stuffing, gravy, pizza cheese and a side of cranberry sauce for dipping.

The seasonal pie will be available until Dec. 1.
