Local pizzeria shutters within a year and a half of opening

Last summer, an authentic New York-style pizzeria and empanada shop opened in Clintonville. 

Nuyorican Pizzeria & Restaurant opened its first-ever brick and mortar at 2864 N. High St. inside of High Street Kitchens after operating as a ghost kitchen since 2021.

But now, the pizzeria that specialized in giant pies and authentic, Puerto Rican empanadas has since closed.
