Owner of popular shawarma concept opening fried chicken & pizza concept

When Azee Raghbat opened his first shawarma & cheesesteak restaurant, AnA Shawarma, in September 2023, it quickly caught on as the go-to spot for halal wings, chopped cheese, cheeseburgers, and gyros.

And now, he’s ready to expand.

“No one sells halal fried chicken around here,” Raghbat emphasized. Until now.

His new concept, Auzy’s Pizza & Chicken, will sell halal New York-style pizza, along with his signature halal fried chicken recipes, plus cold cut sandwiches and hot wings. And yes – before you even ask – he will definitely be incorporating not only fried chicken on his pizzas, but also shawarma.

Auzy’s will actually be located in the same building as AnA Shawarma, in High Street Kitchens at 2864 N. High St. 

While there’s a small dine-in area for patrons, a lot of the business is based around takeout and delivery. 

He’s hoping for a January 1, 2025 opening date, pending on inspections.
