Local restaurant & sports bar known for drag shows closing after a year

Last March, District West, the popular night club on 5th St., opened a spinoff restaurant and sports bar called dW’s Eatery, located at 1021 W. Fifth Ave.

After almost a year, dW’s Eatery has shuttered their doors. Misty Linn, the owner of both District West and dW’s Eatery, has confirmed the closing, with more details to come.

dW’s Eatery was known for their bar fare, such as wings, dips, and sandwiches, along with weekend brunch full of chicken and waffles. They’re also notably known for their LGBTQ friendly atmosphere and inclusivity, featuring drag shows and drag brunches hosted by prominent local Drag Queens, like Virginia West.
