Longtime Victorian Village bar and restaurant closes for good

We knew it was coming, but it’s strange all the same: After 15 years, Harrison’s on 3rd has closed its doors.

The Victorian Village bar that has served as a community hub for sporting events and more announced a “Last Call” event on Jan. 5.

“I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I’m just worn out,” owner Brian O’Connor said in an interview late last year about the reasoning behind the closure.

Harrison’s on Third, which closed after service on Jan. 5, was located at 335 W. 3rd Ave.

The concept was originally opened in 2008, and it quickly became a neighborhood favorite spot, especially during football season, where patrons could grab a drink and watch the Buckeyes, Bengals and Browns. The concept’s sister bar and restaurant, Harrison’s on Kenny, closed in the spring of 2022.
