While summer is the season of ice cream, there will always be a place for in our hearts cookies. And also a place in our stomachs.

Luckily for us, a popular national concept has recently opened its-first ever Ohio location.

Crave Cookies, which now operates nearly 30 storefronts across the country, officially opened its doors for business on June 5, with a grand opening celebration held on June 8. The cookie shop is located at 5875 Evans Farm Dr., Unit J, inside of Lewis Center’s new Evan’s Farm development.

Offering sizable cookies that come in a huge variety of regularly-rotating flavors, patrons can opt for everything from peanut butter cookies—complete with an entire peanut butter cup baked inside—to cannoli inspired cookies and more, depending on the menu.

According to franchisee John Bishop (who said his favorite Crave option is the classic chocolate chip), this is the first Crave location in Ohio, although he hopes to bring more to the area soon.

“I’ve been exploring franchises for a few years now and then I ended up stopping at another location out of state and sank my teeth in the best chocolate chip cookie I ever had,” he said. “It also seemed to be a perfect fit for my community.”
