New Indian restaurant featuring dosas and buffet just opened; already has raving reviews
There’s a new spot in town for South Indian food, like biryani, momo, curries, masalas, and dosas. And if you’re in the mood for all of that – they also feature a buffet.
Dosa Kitchen recently opened at 1307 Stone Ridge Dr. in Gahanna, owned and operated by Govinda Guatam, who already owns the popular Indian establishment, Cumin & Curry.
“It’s a South Indian restaurant. We wanted to bring those flavors to Gahanna, since there aren’t any South Indian restaurants in that area,” Gautam said.

Dosas are crispy, Indian spiced crepes, filled with chutneys, rice, vegetables, and even curry. You get to choose your filling here! They also feature a unique dish called Idli, which are fried, savory lentil & rice cakes dipped in curry.
If you’re interested in trying a variety of these South-Indian dishes, you can catch their lunch buffet on Saturdays and Sundays, from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm.
Reviews are already in, and the central Ohio community is absolutely loving this new spot. “The food was absolutely amazing, the best meal ever. Highly recommended!” said one review. “The food and service here is excellent. The paper dosa is thin and crispy. The sambar has the perfect amount of spice. The salad with the Tandoor chicken is out of this world. This is by far the best Tandoori I’ve had since visiting Mumbai, and it’s on par with the best I’ve ever experienced,” said another.
