The beloved Worthington pizza restaurant and live music lounge closed in 2022 (and reopened another location in Grandview), and now, another restaurant and lounge is moving right in.

Sahara Lux and Lounge, an Afro-Caribbean restaurant and upscale lounge, is coming to 5601 N. High St. according to their social media. They’re planning a soft opening Friday, January 19th, and a public opening on Saturday, January 20th.

They plan on offering a menu centered around African and Caribbean food, such as jerk chicken and jollof rice from 1pm-8pm, and then a live DJ with cocktail and liquor service, and of course, a disco ball, starting at 9pm until 1am. They’ll be open every day besides Mondays.
