Ohio dish makes Yelp list of nation’s ‘10’most outrageous sandwiches’

 According to Yelp, one of the country’s craziest sandwiches is available in The Buckeye State.

Recently, the review platform released a round of the “10 Most Outrageous Sandwiches” from 2023, and while no Columbus eateries appeared, one long-standing Cleveland restaurant made the cut.

Rounding out the final spot on Yelp’s list was the Corned Beef Melt from Slyman’s Restaurant & Deli.

“The Corned Beef Melt is still one of the nation’s most stunning sandwiches, boasting a sky-high mound of the restaurant’s famous house-made corned beef on toasted rye with 2 slices of melty Swiss cheese,” the Yelp story reads.

Self described as “the best sandwich in Cleveland” and “the biggest and best corned beef sandwich in Ohio,” Slyman’s massive Corned Beef has been offered since the eatery first opened in 1964.
