Ohio selected for McDonald’s new collaboration with popular doughnut chain before nationwide expansion
Us lucky Ohioans have been chosen to be some of the first to experiment a nationwide collaboration between two popular fast food chains.
McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme are now a permanent duo, at some locations at least. As of this week, you can now find fresh, delivered daily, Krispy Kreme doughnuts at Central Ohio McDonald’s locations, available individually or in boxes of six. They’re available starting at breakfast and lasting throughout the day, while supplies last.

You can snag an iconic Original Glazed® Doughnut, The Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, or the Chocolate Iced Kreme™ Filled Doughnut.
“The top request we receive from consumers, every day, is, ‘please bring Krispy Kreme to my town.’ Partnering with McDonald’s on a national scale will provide our fans and doughnut lovers unprecedented daily access to fresh doughnuts and the joy that is Krispy Kreme,” said Krispy Kreme President and CEO Josh Charlesworth.
They first rolled out this collaboration in Lexington and Louisville, and the tremendous demand and excitement exceeded expectations, according to their press release. They’ve now expanded the collaboration to Indiana, some cities in Illinois and now, throughout Ohio. Eventually, this roll-out will reach nationwide by the end of 2026.
