A chic new spinoff bar from Land-Grant Brewing Co. is opening for business today.

Land-Grant Extension, a “cutting edge” new bar and taproom, officially opens its doors today.

Situated on Land-Grant’s Franklinton campus, Land-Grant Extension is located at 458 W. Chapel Alley. Land-Grant’s original taproom is located at 424 W. Town St.

The 1,000 square-foot space will offer “innovative beers incorporating unexpected ingredients to tantalizing wine-beer hybrids and refreshing ready-to-drink draft cocktails.”

Land-Grant Extension will be kid friendly until 8 p.m., and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.

“We believe that innovation is the lifeblood of the craft beer community, and The Extension serves as our playground for pushing the envelope and exploring new horizons,” said Walt Keys, Co-Founder and Creative Director at Land-Grant in a press release last month. “From seasoned connoisseurs to curious newcomers, we invite everyone to join us on this journey of discovery.”
