Popular Columbus eatery to be on ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’
After appearing on the show several years ago—and an explosion in popularity in the interim—the owners of the popular Columbus eatery Momo Ghar say they have filmed another segment for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Momo Ghar co-owner Phuntso Lama told 614Now that the show’s host, Guy Fieri, stopped by on May 31 with his crew to film a followup segment.
The eatery, which specializes in Tibetan momo (a type of savory dumpling), was originally on the show in 2018. They are currently located in the North Market downtown.

“[Fieri] wanted to reconnect with his previous guests to see how we are doing, especially after covid and all,” Lama told 614Now. “They are all such good folks. Love him and his entire crew.”
The eatery also posted a photo of its owners standing next to Fieri with a caption that says “An encore with the mayor of Flavortown.”
Fieri was in Columbus late last week for the ribbon-cutting of his new restaurant at Scioto Downs, Guy Fieri’s Trattoria.
