Popular convenience store and eatery chain opens two Columbus-area locations in less than a week

If you thought Sheetz was ramping down its central Ohio expansion, think again.

A mere six days apart, Sheetz launched its two newest Columbus-area stores.

The Pennsylvania-based chain opened a Lancaster storefront, located at 1748 N. Memorial Dr. on June 17. Less than a week later, on June 23, the gas station and grab and go food hotspot opened a second new storefront at 4881 Roberts Rd., on the city’s west side.

In the spring of 2021, the popular national chain opened its first Columbus-area storefront. And they’ve been adding more at a fast pace ever since.

Today, Sheetz operates more a dozen locations in the Columbus area, with more on the way. According to its original opening announcement, Sheetz plans to add more Columbus locations through 2025.
