Popular German Village eatery opens new location
After three and a half years in German Village, Běndì Wok N’ Bar has landed in New Albany.
The popular eatery from the Orange Umbrella Restaurant Group held the grand opening of its New Albany location at 5 p.m. on Dec. 13.
The new Asian fusion spot is located at 170 W. Main St. in New Albany. Its original German Village eatery, which opened in the spring of 2021, is located at 277 E. Livingston Ave.

With a similar menu to its German Village counterpart, the new Běndì Wok offers familiar Asian-inspired appetizers, noodle dishes, stir fry, curry, Bahn Mi sandwiches and more.
Patrons can also enjoy their “Sake Hour” from 3-6 p.m., Monday-Friday, which features $6 Crispy Pork, $6 Messy Fries, $2 Kingfishers (an Indian-brewed lager) and specials on cocktails.
