Popular hot dog concept opens University District eatery
Dirty Frank’s has arrived on Ohio State Campus.
The popular Columbus hot dog spot held the grand opening of its newest eatery earlier this week. It’s located at 2036 N. High St.
“To say we’re excited is an understatement. This has been a long time coming and we can’t wait to share Dirty Frank’s with the OSU Campus community,” Dirty Frank’s co-owner Miriam Ailabouni said.

Ailabouni noted that the new location will offer the same Dirty Frank’s menu as its 4th Street eatery, a full bar and new art from Thom Lessner, whose work adorns their original restaurant as well as the labels of Hoof Hearted Brewing.
While the DIrty Frank’s team acclimates to the new location, their campus restaurant will be open Wednesday-Sunday in the evenings, although they plan to expand these hours.
The concept has been a fixture in Downtown Columbus for 15 years, and has steadily expanded over the last several years, adding a location at the Hollywood Casino Columbus, inside the new Crew Stadium and another in Worthington. It also has an eatery shared with Ray Ray’s Hog Pit and Blackened Coffee Co. slated to open in Ace of Cups soon.
