Some people prefer their cookies on the simpler side, maybe with some gooey chocolate chips inside. Others may crave their cookies piled high with icing, sprinkles, and powdered sugar. Luckily, no matter how you like your cookies, there’s a popular place in Columbus that does it all.

Oh, and they’re opening their highly anticipated, new location soon.

On Friday, March 8, from 12pm-10pm, the beloved Lion Cub’s Cookies is hosting a grand opening party at their new location, 7105 N. High St., STE 120 in Worthington.

“We’re bursting with excitement over here!” said Lion Cub’s Cookies. This local company, which is known for their rotating menu of massive cookies, all served warm, already has a location in Grandview at 1261 Grandview Ave., and after gaining popularity for their unbelievable baked goods since they first opened in 2021, they knew it was time to expand.

During their grand opening, every guest gets a free cookie, and the first 100 patrons will receive a goodie bag. You can enjoy their freshly baked classics, such as their famous Chocolate Chip and Cookies n Cream cookies, alongside their creative seasonal cookies, like the Lucky Lion and Thicc Mint.

We can’t give away too much, but Lion Cub’s also confirmed there will be a special cookie there, “one that people have gone CRAZY for in the past!”

“This new shop symbolizes not just growth but is also a testament to Lion Cub’s Cookies’ vision and passion that fuels us,” founder and CEO of Lion Cub’s Bradley Kaplan said in a press release. “With this location, we’ll be able to increase our efforts in the community, provide more growth opportunities for our team, and reach a larger audience all at the same time.”
