Popular local bubble tea café appears to have quietly shuttered

A popular spot on the North side for bubble tea, smoothies, and milk teas appears to have quietly closed.

Bubble tea connoisseurs often considered The Brewed Leaf at 800 Bethel Rd. as one of the best bubble tea cafés around. Unfortunately, the space appears as “Permanently Closed” on Google and their phone has gone out of service. The windows are also covered.

A representative from The Brewed Tea could not be reached for comment, and their social media page hasn’t responded to people’s questions about their closure, either. It’s unclear if their location at 2060 N. High St. is permanently closed, too, or just temporarily.

If you’re craving some bubble tea around the city, check out our Bubble Tea feature in our June issue!
