Popular New York-based sandwich chain opening new central Ohio location soon

A sandwich shop known for their old-fashioned subs on freshly baked bread is opening another location in central Ohio.

DiBella’s Subs has been expanding throughout our state, and it’s now slated to open a new location this summer at 4980 Dublin Granville Rd. in Westerville. They recently opened a brand new shop in Worthington a couple of months ago, as well.

This chain originally opened about 100 years ago, starting in Rochester, NY. What started as a small, family-run store that took pride in their bread baking skills, is now a popular chain with 44 stores located throughout five states.

Their menu offers classic or grilled subs, with options like The Godfather (Genoa salami, capicola and spicy ham), The Uncle Louie (roast beef, turkey and ham) and veggie and tuna options, too. They also offer hot cheesesteaks and salads, as well as simple sides like potato salad and chips.

The new location is expected to open in June, and they’re currently hiring.
