Popular restaurant and pint house opening second location in spot that was originally planned for a Sheetz

A Powell-based restaurant & bar known for their pizza, appetizers, and huge list of handheld offerings is expanding.

Third Base Pint House, currently located at 9215 Dublin Rd. in Powell, told 614Now that they’re in the works of opening their newest location in the building that formerly housed the beloved bar & grill, Coaches. It will be located at 230 Granville St., and while they were hoping it would already be open, their fingers are crossed that it will open its doors this month.

You’ll find all of your favorite fare at their new location – jerk chicken sandwiches, beer cheese phillies, chicken wings, veggie pizzas, and buffalo chicken rangoon, plus beer and cocktails.

Coaches closed almost a year ago after a decades-long stint, and the location was proposed to be turned into a Sheetz gas station. However, the Gahanna Planning Commission rejected the plan last August, and now, it will return as a neighborhood hub for food & fun.
