‘QR code running man’ in red bodysuit roaming Polaris next week; If you can scan him, you get free sushi

A new Polaris sushi concept is taking promotions to the next level.

On Sept. 3, Ujelei Sushi will hold the grand opening of its first-ever store, which is located inside Polaris Fashion Place, and they’re doing it the best way possible.

According to a press release, a “QR code running man” is set to roam the mall on the day of their opening. He will be dressed in a skintight, red bodysuit (think the Green Man from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” only red), with a QR code emblazoned across his chest.

If you find him and manage to scan the QR code, you can claim free sushi from Ujelei.

The new concept, which will offer sushi, hand rolls, donburi bowls, sashimi, udon and soba noodle soup, was launched by Rajesh Kumar Shrestha, the former executive head sushi chef at Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse.
