Reports: Dairy Queen is testing this new Blizzard flavor in Ohio only

According to multiple reports, including a Parade story from last week, Dairy Queen is currently testing its new Golden Oreo Confetti Blizzard in Ohio.

The new flavor appears to be vanilla soft serve with Golden oreo pieces and multi-colored candy pieces or sprinkles.

There’s no official word yet from Dairy Queen about if the Blizzard will received a national rollout or not, although according to comments on snack blogger Markie Devo’s post (who broke the news of the new blizzard), its availability is extremely limited, with locations in Northeastern Ohio carrying the frozen treat.

614Now contacted multiple Dairy Queen locations throughout central Ohio, and none of them are carrying the new Blizzard flavor, so for now–barring a drive of over two hours–we may just have to cross our fingers.
