Short North store from former BrewDog CEO closing for good

The Short North outpost of the CBD brand W*nder will permanently close at the end of the month.

According to a social media post from the store—which is located at 16 W. Poplar Ave.—W*nder will officially close its doors on July 31.

“We are incredibly grateful for your support and loyalty over the years. Please stop by before (July 31) to make any final purchases and to say goodbye.”

The concept was created by Columbus entrepreneur and former BrewDog USA CEO Tanisha Robinson. Its Columbus storefront originally opened in May of 2022.

While W*nder’s Short North location–which featured their line of CBD seltzers, an in-store CBD bar for tasting samples and more–will close, according to a followup statement to the concept’s social media pages, W*nder will still be available for online and wholesale customers.
