What’s the best way to warm up during frigid, icy, below zero (with wind chill) temps? With a big bowl of pasta, of course.

Restaurant Clicks, a website that creates city guides and “best of” lists for major cities, released a list of the 10 Best Italian Restaurants in Columbus, with eateries ranging from modern osterias to classic trattorias. 

Here’s Restaurant Clicks’ list of the 10 absolute best Italian restaurants in the city:

10. Martini Modern Italian
445 N High St.
Restaurant Clicks recommends trying the tortelloni, lamb pappardelle, short rib, and sea scallops at this well known, classic Cameron Mitchell staple. 

9. Pasqualone’s
5766 Emporium Square
This casual, family-owned Italian restaurant with homemade Italian food is one of Columbus’ best kept secrets. 

8. Basi Italia
811 Highland St.
It’s cozy, intimate, and serves a small, curated list of pastas and other Italian fare. In the winter, the warm space features dim lighting in a small setting, and this restaurant also boasts a huge patio, with stringed lights and plants everywhere.

7. Lola & Guiseppe’s Trattoria

With traditional Italian food like chicken parmigiana, lobster ravioli, and cannoli, it’s no wonder why this mom and pop eatery is a fan favorite.

 6. Marcella’s
615 N High St.
This is a go-to date night spot for some good reasons. Pastas, pizzas, great wines and cocktails, all in a beautiful environment. 

5. Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

This Italian restaurant serves giant portions, family-style. Ranging from pastas, zitis, lasagnas, and so much more, it’s a great spot to take the entire famiglia and try a variety of options together to share.

4. Due Amici
67 E. Gay St.
Considered a top-tier restaurant in Columbus, this sleek, chic space offers style and delicious food. Restaurant Clicks suggests the Allen Brother’s filet mignon, the chicken parm sandwich, and the chicken marsala. 

3. Claudiana Italian Restaurant

It may be unassuming from the outside, located in a strip mall and all, but step inside Claudiana and you’ll find dim lights, white tablecloths, and an incredible variety of pasta dishes.

Orecchiette Pasta alla Zozzona, linguine with clams, and ricotta lumache rigate are among the crowd favorite at this upscale Italian restaurant.
