What better way to honor the Earth than by eating delicious vegetables that grew straight from the ground?

Northstar Cafe and Brassica, two popular spots for casual sandwiches, bowls, and salads, know the importance of plant-based eating, and in honor of Earth Day, they’re offering sandwiches for completely free on April 22 only. “Plant-based eating is nutritious, delicious, and supports a healthy Earth. Come celebrate this special day with us,” Brassica’s Instagram says.

At Northstar Cafe, located in the Short North, Clintonville, Easton, Liberty Center, and Westerville, guests can snag one of their iconic veggie burgers starting at 11 a.m. This burger is packed full of nutrients, made with brown rice, black beans, and beets! You can order it without cheese for a fully vegan meal.

Brassica, located in the Short North, Bexley, Upper Arlington, and Easton, is offering free falafel sandwiches, too! This offer also starts at 11 a.m. If you’ve never had falafel, this would be the perfect day to try it. The Middle-Eastern delicacy is made from ground chickpeas that are rolled into a ball, then deep fried.

Both offers are dine-in only.

“Let’s honor our planet together through the power of plant-based eating,” said Northstar.
