This nearly 30 year-old winery is for sale

After nearly three decades, Slate Run Vineyard Winery is for sale.

According to a real estate listing, the winery and its property are for sale for $725,000. You can see the full listing here.

Slate Run Vineyard Winery is located at 1900 Winchester Southern Rd. Unit B, across from Slate Run Metro Park. Included in the property is more than four acres of vineyards (boasting 60 different grape varieties), and four buildings, including a tasting room.

Additionally, Slate Run Vineyard Winery will leave all of its winemaking equipment and inventory to the buyer, and will assist a transition to new ownership.

The winery and vineyard was opened by Keith and Leslie Pritchard in 1997, after Keith began grape growing and winemaking as a hobby in 1981. Slate Run Vineyard Winery has 17 different proprietary wines.
